Just checked out the "Under Black Flags" video on YouTube. As always the comments were varied. Some say the video was "commercial" and "lacked energy". I replied to those comments by pointing out the obvious. That "Under Black Flags" is not an up-tempo number, so of course the energy is projected differently than on a sppedy, aggressive track like "Nemesis" or "My Apocalypse". I think Nick has an outstanding stage presence and will fit right in, but we all of course had to make the visual adjustment to Chris's absence. There are definite similarities between Nick's stage projection and Chris's. At one point I could have sworn I was looking at Chris with longer hair. So he's a great choice, but does have some big shoes to fill and a high level of expectation to reach. Love Angela's hair, she looks more feminine-which isn't a bad thing at all. Keep the PFM coming Arch Enemy, and to hell with the critics!

Hi & hello! I was looking forward to the AX-Mayhem event on the 21st in Seoul. I got the information that the show was postponed/canceled on the day of the show when I came to the AX-Hall. There was nothing. No people, no posters, no signs, nothing. I asked the guy in the coffe shop that is located in the AX-Hall. He told me that the show is canceled. I went back to my place and went online. I found the information about what happened on this very website. I don't know how the others got the information about the cancelation. Anyway. Things like the cancelation of a concert can happen. But I can't understand that there was no information at the AX-Hall (okay, there was the guy but nothing official). And it is bad because we are here in Korea and not in lucky Japan that got some extra shows. Don't get me wrong: I am happy for them in Japan. But what can the fans in Korea do? Because I am in the summer in Germany I will see Arch Enemy in Aschaffenburg. But the other fans? I hope that the show is just postponed and not canceled forever.

Any chance of coming to the US...soon?

I just saw an internet post called "The top 11 women in metal". I find it amusing that they chose "11" women, instead of the typical "top 10". Angela of course was ranked #1. It's like they said "OK we know Angela is the most brutal...now let's pick 10 more women for our top 11".

Finally picked up the Tyrants Live DVD. Great performance, amazing stage presence. Gonna miss Chris. Welcome aboard Nick!

Arch Enemy was introduced to me in 2008 by my friend. I have never looked back. I love the sound of pure fucking metal and thank Arch Enemy for bringing that to us \m/
